Who is a Fundholder?
At the CFOV, our Fundholders are donors who established funds, donor advisors, and individuals who represent agencies, committees, and other groups that have funds with us. Fundholders can use our online portal to view quarterly statements, see past grants and donors, make grant requests (for donor advised funds), and much more.

Recommending a Grant from a Donor Advised Fund
Donor Advisors may recommend grants to qualified charitable organizations from a Donor Advised Fund by logging into the Fundholder Portal or by sending the Grant Recommendation Form to Debbie Stanton at debbie@cfov.org. Recommendations are typically processed quickly, but please plan for up to four weeks for any time-sensitive grants. Grants must adhere to our Donor Advised Fund Guidelines, found below.

- How can I contribute to my fund?
Online gifts may be made directly to your fund through the Fund Advisor Portal, or by visiting cfov.org/give. If you would like to transfer stock or appreciated assets, please contact us at (304) 242-3144.
- How often will I receive fund statements?
Fund Statements are issued quarterly either by mail or through the Fund Advisor Portal, depending on the advisor’s recorded preference.
- I can’t access my portal.

- Can grants be recommended for assistance to individuals?
No, all grants from Donor Advised Funds must be made to a charitable organization, preferably with tax-exempt status under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
