Board Spotlight: Roanne Burech

POSTED ON

WHEELING, W.Va. — The Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley is proud to welcome Roanne Burech as a valued member of our Board of Directors. Originally from Wellsburg, W.Va., Burech has called Wheeling home for the past 37 years, where she built an impressive career in banking. Retiring from WesBanco after 33 years, she held the position of senior vice president of branch operations, focusing on supporting branches, overseeing new acquisitions, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Burech’s dedication to the community is equally remarkable. She has served as president and board member of both the YWCA Wheeling and the Wheeling Symphony, in addition to leading the Wheeling Symphony Auxiliary. She also serves on the Advisory Board of Faith in Action, supports Wheeling Health Right’s Congregation for Caring, and has lent her talents to the Viennese Winter Ball committee as co-chair. A Leadership Wheeling alumna, Burech continues to give back through her role on the Wheeling Hall of Fame Board.

“It is a pleasure and honor to serve on the CFOV Board,” says Burech. “CFOV makes such an impact on our community, and I am pleased to be a part of this organization.”

The CFOV is grateful for her leadership and dedication to the Ohio Valley!
