Empowering Women Through Philanthropy: Women’s Giving Circle Awards 2024 Grants

Fourteen organizations serving women and girls in the Ohio Valley have received grants from the Women’s Giving Circle. 

The Women’s Giving Circle (WGC), an initiative of the Community Foundation for the Ohio Valley (CFOV), seeks to empower through philanthropy by making strategic, researched-based grants supporting projects serving women and girls. 

Founded in 2010, the WGC’s initial 17-person membership has swelled to over one hundred members. Focused on engagement and impact, the WGC has directed over $550,000 to local nonprofits since its inception.

2024’s grants were awarded to organizations across the CFOV service counties of Jefferson & Belmont in OH, and Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, Marshall, Wetzel & Tyler counties in WV.

Combined, this cycle’s grants are expected to impact over 1200 women and girls across the region.

Grants totaling $57,350.00 were awarded to the following organizations:
